Well this question is not as simple as you think, yet there are some very important basic factors you must implement.
[li]Quality Products[/b]: Don't offer the cheap stuff. In other words No 3year vinyl[/li][/ul]
- Integrity: Do what you say and follow through. Show your customers that you truly care about them and their success...No Gimmicks!
- Community: Get involved with the community. Join the Chamber, sponsor kids sports teams etc; do the "door to door" thing and visit, then revisit periodically.
- Communication: keep your customers updated on the progress of their project, let them know days in advance if you're you're running behind and their delivery date is in question, call them after their project has been delivered and thank them again. By the way, you call them, not text them.

- Curb Appeal: Make sure your graphics are easy to read. Sometimes graphics are so funky with text and color that potential customers really have to work hard at reading the message.
- Interior Appeal: Have a wall that is clearly visible to all who enter your business. This wall should have a label called "Community" and display photos of the sign/design work of the local pizzeria, the flower shop, local Fire Dept, new box retailer etc. This may sound cheesy to some of you, but try to have the owner(s) stand by their new signage and take a photo.....you'll be surprised to see how many potential customers that enter your business will recognize and even point out a customer or two by saying "I didn't know you did that place" etc:) *** Keep your place looking clean and organized....yes this can be done if everyone is mindful of the expectations.
- Standards: Do Not design for free because the guy working from his garage is. You will be surprised how you are respected by customers by when you explain the process and deliver the goods. This works for all States in the U.S.
- Advertising: Good customer relations, quality products and fair but accurate pricing will be you #1 advertisement. A happy customer will sell for you!
